About 1Court

The most comprehensive, accurate court directory in the U.S.

Filing fees, e-filing, clerk contacts, and case-lookup for 3,100+ counties across all 50 states + DC, in one place, verified against official sources, and kept current. Built because this information is scattered across thousands of court websites and almost never in a form you can trust or reuse.

How the data is sourced & verified

Accuracy is the whole point. The standards every record is held to:

Official sources only

Every field comes from the court’s own website, the governing statute, or an official fee schedule, never scraped aggregators or crowdsourced guesses.

Verified means fetched

We only publish a value we’ve actually retrieved and seen at its source. Nothing is filled in from memory or approximated to look complete.

Cited, field by field

Each record links back to the source it came from, so you can check it yourself. Structured data marks it up for search and AI.

Honest gaps, never fabricated

When a detail isn’t yet confirmed, the page says so with a “still being confirmed” badge instead of showing a number we’re not sure of. A wrong filing fee is worse than a blank one.

Cross-checked against the law

Values are checked against neighboring counties in the same state and, when they disagree, resolved against the governing statute or statewide cost schedule.

Kept current

Fees change, e-filing goes mandatory, clerks turn over. Links and values are re-checked on a monthly cadence, and every record carries the date it was last verified.
