- Same 10-day period for the subdivider (or tenant in a condominium/stock cooperative conversion) appealing the advisory agency (a)(2), appeals from the appeal board to the legislative body (b)(1), and any adversely affected interested person (d)(1). Calendar days; a weekend/holiday last day rolls under Gov. Code 6800 / CCP 12a, but the clerk's office closures control (AMBIGUITY; file early). Hearing within 45 days after the request and decision within 10 days after the hearing are agency duties (not modeled). Local ordinances for other permits may set different appeal periods.
- If the clerk's office is closed or inaccessible on the last day (weather, emergency or local closure orders), the deadline may be extended. Check local orders.
