  • Either creditor or third person may petition. Alternative trigger: 15 days after filing of a third person's release undertaking (third_party_claim_hearing_petition_after_undertaking). Runs from FILING, so no service extension. The third-party claim itself has no day-count deadline: it must be filed after levy but before sale, delivery, or payment of proceeds (720.120; not modeled). CORRECTION to task description: there is no 15-days-after-notice-of-levy deadline for the claim.
  • If the clerk's office is closed or inaccessible on the last day (weather, emergency or local closure orders), the deadline may be extended. Check local orders.
