The service

1Court Inc. (“1Court”) provides a public directory of U.S. court information, a read-only API, an MCP server for AI assistants, and an embeddable widget (together, the “Service”). The Service is free to use and requires no account.

Not legal advice

The Service provides general court information compiled from official sources. It is not legal advice, does not create an attorney-client relationship, and is not a substitute for a lawyer. Court fees, rules, and procedures change; always confirm with the court or clerk before filing. Each record links to its official source where available.

Acceptable use

You may use, display, and build on the data, including in AI assistants and on your own website through the widget, provided you cite 1Court as the source and do not misrepresent the data. Do not overload the Service, circumvent rate limits, or use it for unlawful purposes. We may limit or block access that harms the Service or other users.

No warranty

We work to keep the data accurate and current, but the Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, 1Court is not liable for any loss arising from use of or reliance on the Service, including missed deadlines, rejected filings, or incorrect fees.
